I shocked witchcraft??

Say it ain't so.

floor goblin, actually

Those are quite nasty. Getting everywhere and refusing to stay in one place. You can distract it with shiny things and minor baubles quite easily though.

There are bodyweight exercises you can do at your desk that will work just as good as a weighted mouse set.

since I founded (is that the right word?) a shared flat with a buddy of mine in Vienna a week ago, we got ourselves a 6 month card for the nearest workout center. We made some pictures for some "before-after" pics and now he drags me to training every second evening after work. I only used to do a little bit of workout, I mostly went jogging and stuff but now it´s all "okay, today is leg day" or "today it´s back and chest" and stuff.

I´m sorta glad that he´s so motivated because I wouldn´t go to the gym that often myself. Also, I discovered that I got a lot of different muscles in my body, I can mostly feel them 2 days after the training

My buddy is caring a lot about his nourishment, but I just stick to eating turkey meat and other stuff that has lots of protein after the training. Don´t care about specific diets, I rather try to adapt my eating habits on a long therm. All in all, I eat what I want but also try to stay healthy, that´s all :x

Dinner is chicken breast seared black with cajun seasoning and soup with cabbage and beef broth/garlic. Eating high protein low carb always gives me the nastiest smelling shits. I can't wait to drop this load and choke myself on the fumes.

Gonna hit up some okra for my fiber tomorrow. It's so fibery there's like 1g net carbs in a bowl full of it. Poop chat. Healthy muscles healthy colon y'all.

What's the point of working out if you gotta follow a diet? I usually just work out then eat whatever is in the fridge. Left over pizza often does the trick.

I haven't worked out in 2 years. Trying to eat super healthy for now and get down to my old weight.

Can't do long distance biking for shit as a fatlord. Hope that by the time spring rolls around I will be good to go.  8-)

Try high intensity body weight workouts with some running/sprinting(this isn't crossfit!) Has low impact on the body, burns fat quick, adds muscle, good cardio,  and the work outs are around 60 minutes(stretch/warm up for 20-30 minutes).

 Example:

warm up: 10-15 minutes of dynamic stretching - treadmill(3.0% elevation setting) - walk/jog - 1 mile

Tread mill run/sprint - 3.0% elevation, 9.0spd - 20-30 seconds
- 10 regular pushups
- 10 bicep curls
Tread mill run/sprint - 3.0% elevation, 9.0spd - 20-30 seconds
- 10 regular pushups
- 10 bicep curls
Tread mill run/sprint - 3.0% elevation, 9.0spd - 20-30 seconds
- 10 regular pushups
- 10 bicep curls

30-60 second break(until heart rate is drops)

Tread mill run/sprint - 3.0% elevation, 9.5spd - 20-30 seconds
- 10 close grip pushups
- 40 second plank
Tread mill run/sprint - 3.0% elevation, 9.5spd - 20-30 seconds
- 10 close grip pushups
- 40 second plank
Tread mill run/sprint - 3.0% elevation, 9.5spd - 20-30 seconds
- 10 close grip pushups
- 40 second plank

30-60 second break(untill heart rate drops)

Tread mill run/sprint - 3.0% elevation, 10.0spd - 20-30 seconds
- 10 pushups
- 10 abdominal/core work outs
Tread mill run/sprint - 3.0% elevation, 10.0spd - 20-30 seconds
- 10 pushups
- 10 abdominal/core work outs
Tread mill run/sprint - 3.0% elevation, 10.0spd - 20-30 seconds
- 10 pushups
- 10 abdominal/core work outs

Static Stretches -10-15 minutes

Whey protein shake with added glutamine after all workouts or strenuous exercises.

You can adjust the workouts inbetween with some other workouts like curls, deadlifts, squats, or more core workouts etc. Try doing this once a week and consider it a full body work out.  Make sure to pay attention to your heart rate and don't over do yourself. Play it safe, if you need a longer break, take one. listen to you body!

For "diet", stick to the basics. Eat less red meat and eat more lean proteins(turkey, chicken, fish, beans, veggies etc), tons of spinach, tons brown rice and sweet potato, variety of different kinds of veggies, tons of fruit(dont worry about sugar), Nuts(almonds, peanuts, cashews etc), unflavored yogurt, oatbran or some sort of granola or oats(no quaker or any of that sugar crap). Drink a lot of water.

For extra help with weight loss, drink a warm class of water with lemon and honey(half lemon squeezed and whatever amount of honey) first thing in the morning. You'll feel good.

This version is for noobies. For str gains you would replace body weight work outs with deadlifts, incline bench, squats, cleans, whatever you want, but still do those sprints in between.  Also you could increase the elevation on the treadmill. This workout should only be done one day a week. The rest of the week should be str building or whatever your into.

Sprints are one of the best work outs for adding muscles and burning fat, especially hill sprints.

I fucking hate gyms, and I'm not so interested in short-term effect chasing, but long-term healthy grow and real applicable strength. And as little side effects and long-term injuries as possible.

So: working my way slowly through "convict conditioning" (one of the best systematic calisthenics courses around) with some flexibility/energy flow oriented stuff added that I borrowed from several Qi Gong / Yoga traditions. Works pretty well.

I am in my late 40s and feel better now than even at times where I was doing excessive mountain-biking and other sports in the past and was considered quite "fit".

Absolutely no need for supplements or other weird "substances" either.

Moderately healthy food - 60-80% raw food, some good beef and chicken and eggs, lots of nuts and almonds, and lots of sprouts (easy to make, and esp. beans and lentils are great for taste and protein, can eat them raw in salads, throw them in the blender, or fry them in a wok, all delicious). Sugar, wheat, bread, rice, pasta, pizza, oats,  etc. only on "pig days" once or twice a week.

And dogs and gardening for cardio... :)
