I trust you guys, but a " We're working on it, hold on.. " kind of a message would be nice, for an example these new patches totally ruined cRPG for me, I can only play duel, in DX7, and that's torture.

I don't want to report these because we did this a few times by now, but please tell me that some kinda fix is on the way, I'm not the only one who can't play the mod because of these.

I'm not demanding anything, It's only that I'm deaf and blind about this situation.

Thank you for an answer.

Christo.

You know, I almost laughed.. almost.

A freaking 2,8 C2duo, 2GB ram and a 240GT should be more than enough to play the game.
It was okay at the prev. version, and the engine/stuff hasn't changed much.

What?

I don't have a crapton of money to upgrade a PC every month when a new technology comes out, maybe you guys are like that, but I'm not. Still, it was just fine, and now It's just crashing after crashing. Don't tell me that a cRPG patch has such performance impact.

All these fail comments are unneeded.

Surely the game // mod became really unstable while running perfectly fine @ 1920x1080 maxed out before.

Christo is simply right.

before you start the game, go into configuration and DISABLE 'Load textures on demand'.  This will force your video card to load all the textures needed before game starts, not during which causes the stutters.

Game crashes are a different topic entirely.

did you try the low quality texture pack? over the next few days i'll try to prepare a pack with the old weeaboo armors and some other old stuff that got replaced by hq stuff which might cause this.
stay tuned.

Yes, I tried.

I did everything mentioned on the forums. But no effect.

It's off.

Every patch this year, I'm sad to say, seems to have increased the lag and amount of weird stuff like phantom blocks and hits as more and more demands are placed on the server and/or the game engine. Sometimes playing is more or less impossible as my character seems to be moving the whole time at about half the speed he should.
The word is "anyway" not "anyways". You are not Gabby Hayes.

I have a 4000+ Dollar computer, that can easily tackle next gen/cutting edge games, yet I was studdering and choppy FPS'ing my way across this game until i found out that if I dont limit my FPS to 60, instead of letting it go wildly has as it will go.. It wont run right.    Now I lock the frames at max 60, and i've not had a studdering problem since.  Weird.

Nowadays I'll watch people teleport around, people falling off horses suddenly disappearing and appearing behind me...

Then I'll see people jumping off a ledge only to fall through the floor, while they actually have not, appearing two seconds later.

It's most likely related to models, textures, faces, hairs, or just a combination of those. I also noticed a serious FPS hit on my machine (and I'm usually the first to notice)

I hope that some of our guys (that know stuff about modeling) can do something to it - if there is a modeler in disguise lurking around, feel free to contact us for joining the team :)
