Best Fighter Gaming Series.......GO!

Soul Calibur on Dreamcast is the only fighting game I truly enjoyed (Mortal Combat comes next). Tried Tekken with friends couple of times, kinda boring. Also, Tekken was one of PS exclusives and I despise Sony and PS. Hate Street Fighter with passion.

Also remember playing this as a kid. Looks like garbage but seemed kinda cool to 9 year old Leshma. Never seen the show game is based upon.

In terms of fun.. super smash.

Could play that for hours with friends as we ganged up on each other and called each other every name in the book. Was hilarious.

Good times, could infinitely lock someone stunned with Rudolf (the shuriken tosser). Loved to play that, got it from some 100 free game cd my friend had.

Naruto Shippuden: Gekitou Ninja and all the serie of naruto fighting game, not very known but very fun. And one of the particular thing is that you musn't touch any key if you want your character to block attack.

Gonna have to vote smash, since I've definitely sunk the most hours into it and got the most fun out of it (come at my Project M Roy).

If I had to pick a "real" fighter game, I would vote for mortal kombat.

In terms of nostalgia though... little fighter 2 all the way!

Out of this list i'd pick Tekken definitely (Feng is my fav character).
But lately i've been really hooked up on Injustice. It's really just a more fun and dynamic version of the latest MK installment with lot's of great improvements to the basic mechanics of Mortal Kombat. Fun and unique characters, nice moves list and it's really easy to play  (i play it all the time with my GF and guests who have no idea what they're doing but they still manage to do something cool and flashy and have fun with it), but hard to master. I hope the new MK that comes out in april is more like Injustice than the previous MK, in terms of dynamics and the learning curve.

I wish i hadn't sold my console. Playing fighter games like Injustice on PC sucks without controllers.

I think I have found your problem. And no, SC combat is extremely fast paced, unless of ceouse you are playing on easy. Easy in this game feels like they gve AI lobotomy...

Sluggish doesnt have to mean fast or slow paced, it can also be lack of control due to slow actions etc. Unless you really get into a fightier this is how the game generally feels.
