yeah I feel like its going to be basically the same game as current haven, which is still fun and will please most their existing fanbase. but personally was hoping for a remake in terms of gameplay also, especially combat which AFAIK looks the same.

I think what Jorb meant was that current features will be in new H&H in reformed or nonreformed way. So basically old stuff will be in, it's just a question how much of it is revamped. For me, just the click&drag seed planting is a huge step forward.

If my comp can run it, may grab some resources for the commune.

LIF disappointed me both in performance and in dwarven city front, this game seems more likely

It's not a demanding game, in terms of hardware. And far more complete than LIF. Honestly, if you want a peak at the game, just go play the current version @ www.havenandhearth.com - the new one will be very similar.
