any news how the combat will look like?

No info about that. There is a short clip of combat in the video I posted, but apparently that's not all, loftar said, or rather that you can't really make out how the combat will be out of that clip.

the combat is definitely the only disapointing thing in video for me, it looks like same old hnh combat. which alot of people love but I've never been impressed at all by it myself.

Yeah, never liked the combat in H&H too much either.

I actually enjoyed grouping up with strangers in previous seatribe game worlds, when I had no friends playing, it makes game interesting in different ways.

there is downsides, I did like playing with friends also. But I think overall I much prefer it because at the least it will prolong the early game - the part I enjoy most.

Early game is definitely the best, setting everything up for the first time, your base, walls, crops, animals, mines, working on the whole infrastructure and so on. Lategame is basically quality/stat grind and whatever drama you make in PvP.

But I did see J&L say that they want the gameplay to go more 'qualitative, not quantitative', so we might see some positive changes regarding that.

They're adding click reduction stuff for things like walling, paving, farming - so instead of having to click each tile to plant seeds for example, you'll just mark an area where you want seeds planted and then your character will go from tile to tile and plant the seeds. Imo one of the best features to have, as having to click each tile was annoying and felt grindy.

"Game is almost playable. Give us a few more months."

its been near 4, would be nice to have an idea considering the videos look like the game is done and they are adding luxury content like those you posted.

With jorb&loftar we will never really know. Imo this is far more a core feature now rather than luxury, though. Changes gameplay/grindyness quite a lot and reduces a lot of need to use bots (for those that were using them). Long overdue.

i guess i can agree with that.  I think the dev's just have a different idea of the term "playable" then we do because that december video looked rather playable to me and leaps ahead of what i expected considering they claimed they were basically redoing the entire game over.

problem is they are passion developers, so they will polish that wall placement to be really nice, but large aspecs of the game will be barely touched or implemented. They pretty much admit this stuff if you read their posts; if they are unsure how to implement some aspec they will just wait months for right idea / solution and meanwhile work on the other parts of the game. This is practically the opposite to most game development, luckily there is no producer pulling out hair because a design doc is not being exacted out in a rational stages.

Will all current HnH's features be in on the launch?

Probably.
