Will there be ANY option to convert crpg stuff (gold,looms) into M:BG stuff?

1.000.000 gold to receive a small "crpg" title
or 5 +3s to get a unique profile picture
or anything like this?

Will there be a mechanic like chambering is now?

I think they made weapons solid constructs, so when they touch in a way they would block each other while both hitting there will be something similar to chambering. Not exactly chambering which is impossible with the 360° attack angle.

I hope we finally get some grappling or disarm mechanics, ringen had whole sections in historical fencing manuals.
Legs are used for standing, walking, jumping, running, kicking, and similar activities.

I just want there to be a meaty crunch-sound punch you can do if you are using a 1hander or bastard sword. Along with the ability to toggle between two-handed and 1-handed no shield mode for the bastard swords. Would open up a real rewarding playstyle for aggressive agile people doing the whole duelist/swashbuckler thing.

Which I guess is a good question on its own. You guys working on a general idea of controlling a "meta" that heavily favors backpedaling long polearms and greatswords? Cuz that is real boring if too powerful. Chivalry has the swashbuckler class that gets combat dodges and crap for a buff and it works good, but that's a "class" based game that is easier to balance than what cRPG is like.

So, any ideas of "limiting" overpowered hybrids or pure builds using game mechanics or item balance, or giving new skillsets to weaker playstyles to make them useful? Would be cool to hear any general impressions on this part of game design.

What about actual swashbuckling? As in using the buckler shield to make it hard to read attacks? In fact what will attacking look like? Is it going to be the same 4D type bollocks or something new and inventive?

The goal of Strategus battles shouldnt be to deprive your enemies of players, but to have full roster both sides and have the gear/tactics/strategy win the day rather than lack of merc support.

I dunno, i like the idea of this a little better. For the years i've played i've been an advocate for looms not making items 'better' but more unique, it allows more variation than just the best players getting better and better shit.

The meta is normally balanced builds, well if everyone starts with balanced builds and 'leveling' allows more and more points re-allocated it'll be the highest levels with the most freedom to make agi-builds or str-builds. It removes the benchmark grind to reach the totally generic build everyone else would use anyway. Again, i like that. You're reward is freedom to chose more diverse builds, not just a better version of the same build everyone else has.

My point is that rewards that give you continouus developement (or make you better) keep you addicted. After all that unique stuff, which is fine ofcourse, is tested out, players will start to get bored. There MUST be something that rewards your time played, (if not looms or leveling then something else).

Let's settle speculation down though, we will see the truth at the outcome of the game.
