So, after a long 10 year run, my current pc is ready to die.

At the end of August, I`ll receive a good bonus, so I`m thinking investing into a new computer, I did some playing with the customization that cyberpowerpc has, and this is what I made

Well my PC died down a few weeks ago so I'm also gathering this type of information.

... I don't have spare cash for a new rig however, =(

Could be useful later on, though, I'm out of date like 4 years behind the tech.

Looks good, the only thing I'd recommend is nVidia GTX 770, worth it, it will last you longer, you could take a cheaper mobo no problem and get a better gpu

Yeah a GTX 660 is absolute bullshit. He should buy a 999$ worth GTX Titan to be able to play everything on ultra 100+ fps because that's the whole of point of existance isn't it.

He obviously needs a workstation GPU for 3k-4k $

Well, I wouldn't say that GTX 660 is shit, but if you drop SSD, or 8 GB Ram (well you can upgrade those easly later)  he could get a GTX 770 wich might serve him well much longer than the gtx 660.
I suppose that PC is going to be used mainly for gaming so going for a bit more powerfull GPU would be nice addition, especially if he is going with i7.

Agree with above,
Switch down to a 4690k (i5) and switch the GPU for something better (GTX 770 is an option, look at the build I recommended lemon)

Atm you are going for a tiny case and motherboard, is this intentional?

Also, you don't need a 750W PSU, corsair is a good brand, but CX is their cheapest crap. There should be a 600W seasonic?
You'll also need a decent CPU cooler, the intel stock is shit. Go for a corsair H80i or w/e closed loop watercooling they offer (only decent thing that will fit in that tiny case).
And 16GB of RAM is overkill, 8 is more than enough for games.

Yeah I'd say don't go Micro-ATX (if that's what they are still called), saves a lot of stress and annoyances in general.

It's like working with a miniature, especially if you have got some giant cards added on top
