Hmm, Idk actually, I know Rubiks marines do(thousand sons under Ahrimans spells), but ive never really had any interest in the chaos marines.

Some "Chaos" legion are really interesting like the Thousand Sons, The Night Lords, or the Alpha Legion

Yeah, I should look more into it, I only got some minor information in the Ragnar Blackmane series, but that already showed some fairly interesting stuff.

But: a chaos base on Fenris, yo. Kinda stretches it huh.

But you learn so much about Night Lords, and many of them aren't corrupted.

What happened that it crashed?

Failing motherboard or PSU, but most likely Motherboard.

I got it on ipad books just havent gotten around to reading it, got a metric ton of warhammer 40k novels still to be read. I think atleast 25

Lmao I knew it all too well, my old pc had its moments where it would show blue screen (you know, blue screen ) for 4 days straight and then suddenly worked again..  when that happened on the weekends oof I went ballistic

The wolves are the Emperor's executioners.. What they did on Prospero.. Well, considering the circumstances and how it must have looked in the Emprahs eyes to have the barriers of Terra breached..

As Konrad Curze said, the Emperor used him as a tool of death in order to erase and do all the dirty jobs.

It's pretty close to the Space Wolves' job. Even if they use different ways.

Iirc, the Night Lords favoured "lightning raids"? Whilst the space wolves used 'brute force'.

It's what i'm saying, they used different ways but for the same mission.

To sum up :

He got used as a tool of death by the Emperor.
The Emperor knew how he was doing the "job" and he let him doing it.

Then, when the dirty job has been done, some voice from the Imperial authority started to yell & repport how brutal Konrad Curze was.

Konrad got called by the Emperor and then has been humiliated in public. And went back to his palace.
Konrad had a special "skill" he has visions. With the time, the visions started to ruin his life. Especially because of one always poping up.
The one where the Emperor kills him.

He already escaped to many tries of assassins.
Bored, sad, and harassed by his visions (its much more complicated but well...) he decided to let the next assassin finish him.
A bit before that, he called all his captains, and gave the crown to his favorite son and explained that he will die this night. And no one should intervene.
(The captains had enormous different point of views on everythings) => very important when they will become "renegade" because some will completly fall in the corruption of chaos, when others will stay  "pure" and fight for their "justice"

Hmm, interesting, they also dont actively support any of the chaos gods, right? (Like the world eaters where khorne, etc.)
