Its quite a large game isnt it. Wont probably even pirate it. AC became a borefest long ago. True, they got me at Black Flag and that was pretty awesome, but enough is enough.

Its practically the COD of the action/stealth genre at this point, with a new iteration released yearly.  Just end the plot already and call it done.

Doesn´t look that much better than Black Flag did to justify that much higher system specs.

Well, the whole architecture and static props look way better than BF... The city itself - I've only seen Versailles yet - looks awesome.
That being said... I've yet to see and play in big Paris but until now I can play fine on High with my toaster.
When west germany annexed east germany, nobody moved a finger too.

France is boring. Black Flag had awesome islands with kickass green forests, palm trees, beaches, and cool caribbean seas with blue shiny water.

Oh and Pirates.

Not sure why the devs chose France when there are countless places on earth that look better than it

Pretty sure they've said specifically they don't want to do feudal Japan.

I think I've downloaded* this about five times now, and it never works, can't get past sequence 2 or 3 (crashes), after Youngezioclone is framed for murder

* super legally of course, from Uplay or Steam or something

Pretty sure they've said specifically they don't want to do feudal Japan.

They care more about money than personal opinions.

An AC with ninjas or samurais and smoke bombs and shurikens and evil brits who are actually Templars supporting the Imperial Court and French who are good guys (fitting since this AC took place in France) supporting Shogunate is a game that all the weeaboos and japanophiles would love and it would sell good im sure.

Personally i'd like an AC set during either Alexander the Greats time in Greece or Julius Caesars time in Rome or even WW2 lol.

I think it's highly unlikely AC could ever jump that far back in the historical time line, although their narrative is so shit these days I wouldn't be surprised.

I enjoyed Black Flag, mostly thanks to the brilliant Swansea lead character, but Unity is the same old same old and i would much rather replay AC2 than pay £40 for this rehash of tired mechanics and shoddy story.

Next setting will likely be colonial empire, i think India or South America, as that's the only place that could justify melee focused game play further on in the narative.

See? That's where you wrong.

Considering mechanics, Unity actually is a bit of reboot. From what I could play, fighting is way more difficult and rewarding if done right. No more silly counter-killing. And the parcour part is way more smooth and fluent too... if you got the system to even run is disgrace of a port properly. :?

Without the bugs and a proper performance this AC could have been the best yet.

I thought parkour and movement in general was better this time around. It felt more real, like the character you controlled had weight.
