Well to be honest ; holland is not gonna win the cup imo.

Yea 5-1 was amazing result but chile won by 2-0 too. Spain sucked so much ; holland wasnt in that much good shape.

Bosnia succumbs to Nigeria (Bosnians are a prime example of Balkanian mentality - after 60 mins they can't run anymore as if they came directly from a pub)

Bosnia - Nigeria should have been 1-1 or even 1-0 for Bosnia though. Their early goal was not offside and Nigeria's goal got enabled by a foul. Referee errors are going to directly eliminate Bosnia from the tourney. Can't remember a World Cup where the referee's have so consistently fucked up and influenced the results of the entire tournament.

While the Dutch playstyle has been successful so far, it completely relies on scoring on the counter. My country's team basically never uses the midfield and never actually slowly builds up an attack. They should probably just play in a 6-4 formation or something, because all that happens is defenders doing long passes directly to the front and hoping that the speed of Robben can create something. The defense has shown big gaps, personally I hate Janmaat who always leaves his man open and nearly every game the Dutch defense has been under heavy assault for prolonged periods of time. I just can't see these counter goals working against some of the more solid and careful teams like Germany and as soon as that is gone the Dutch team has nothing left.

Very surprised by the quality of some of the Dutch defenders so far though, Vlaar is a fucking beast.

Ofc, I "forgot" to mention that because I didn't want to talk about the refs although even Bosnian's own manager was a gentleman and refused to blame the refs but instead spoke of his team's weaknesses. It's a fact that in both of their matches after cca 60 minutes they just physically dropped and most of 'em couldn't move anymore. Not to mention abysmal defending from Spahić (vs Nigeria), Bičakčić & Kolašinac (vs Argentina).

That Memphis dude (Depay) reminds me so much of our dutch cRPG comrades, so cocky and annoying at the same time but definitely skilled player. He's going to be big transfer this summer, even though he's not first choice in the team (LvG has always been a weirdo).

As for winners of the tournament, I still say Brazil. Thing about teams led by Scolari is they become better and better as competition progresses and they have yet to show full potential. Dislike that Neymar twat, but he plays so much better in his national team compared to his Barcelona performance and even that is solid play most of the time.

Still cheering for Ivory Coast, Drogba deserves to win World Cup even though it's almost impossible.

If Brasil keeps playing like this, and if Chilee still use cocaïn before matches they will have a chance. It can be interesting to see.
