On the contrary, can't anyone see that a lot of his attitude towards women is perpetuated by a lot of other people? Take away the killing and you still have someone who believes they are entitled to women, as if they are objects for sex that owe him something, instead of people who have their own individuality.

Did you read that bodybuilding forum thread? He gets called out as a psycho, because he was. He had no male friends to speak of either. Also 5 of the 7 people he killed were men.  He thought he was owed a woman because he was a narcissistic insane piece of shit. He probably figured he was owed the incredibly rich lifestyle he had just because he was so magnificent. I doubt he saw anyone but himself as an actual person.

It might have helped him make more friends his age outside his small social circle and just get used to interacting with people in general.

Do you not think that a factor in his thinking (other than alleged metal illness) might be the presence of a culture of objectification of women as sex objects, entitlement to use of said objects, and perhaps the pervasiveness of said culture in such an impressionable age group? NOt being a spoiled brat would help him. Living in california, having very rich family, semi famous father, good appearance - he hit the jackpot, got a better start than 99% of the population in the world. And still he didn't manage to not fail in life.
