Could be nice I guess. As long as they fix it.

I'm now about 4 hours in, still haven't had any major frame drops or crashed. Admittedly I have left mine to 30fps as I didn't see much point faffing about until shit gets fixed and I'm on a 970 which is meant to be one of the worse affected cards.

Probably connected to you playing from a SSD. Supposed to work better.

I think so too. I have heard it gets worse in the middle of the game but we shall see I guess.

I've been really enjoying this so far, maybe a touch too much batmobile but otherwise really good.

Same tbh. It could have been a very successful game with a proper PC launch. I haven't done much main story. Mostly flying around, beating up random mobs and overall enjoying the great skill point system, the riddler challenges and stuff.
I even like that they put those "challenge maps" into the world, just not enough melee challenges around it seems. I've read there are only 5 melee ones... that's not enough.

And I don't mind the batmobile as much as I thought I would. Those tank shooting moments are rather quickly over, so I don't mind those - more of an reflex mini game. I enjoy the riddler puzzles with the car... Overall, it ain't that bad and you still have the freedom to go on foot most of the time, so it's okay.

Apparently quite a lot of people asked for it. I mean, it is part of the Batman, isn't it.
Tho the melee combat system has always been what made Batman great. I certainly didn't ask for it but I can live with it, using it only when it's necessary to continue. The way they implemented it into the game is okay, I'd say.

I like how they've integrated it into movement like flying out of it which is awesome. Jumping over a gap in the batmobile and rocketing out the top and gliding is so much fun. I'd have been happy if it was just for speed and mobility. Fuck the tank stuff.

You may not trust Kotaku but the fact is the game on PC was stuttering a year ago and wasn't fixed. PC crowd last few years got shit in their face too many times with dodgy ports.
And now he can't play because of "common sense" and he doesn't understand how this common sense works
