Ok, so let's take a look, constructively. What was changed in the revised version that is different.
Emboldening work done on the lines of the hand.
Instead of pitch black boots, you turned them charcoal and drew a black line down the middle.
The wrist angle was turned slightly.
A line was removed from down the helmet.
And that wraps it up for the big difference, which if we are looking at this constructively, is hardly noticeable.

Now, what I think your patron is angry with,
the lack of effort put into his drawing that he paid for.
Basically, you gave your patron a 2D paper doll image, with little to no detail. Sure you can argue that it's aesthetically displeasing because it was requested to be bland. But that doesn't excuse the posture of this drawing. The boots are just sticking out to the side. The arm is lazily raising a sword almost perpendicular to the body. The legs are positioned in a squatting stance as if he's bracing for something, but the rest of the body language throws their purpose out the window. Constructive use of my demeaning.
I think this is what the people expect as an outcome, more so than what you've presented for the past few months.

loginThis one is probably your best one. Looks like you actually tried back then. It had 3D qualities, posture, and action. The left arm/shoulder/clavical throws it off slightly, but overall, this is a good piece that I could not even turn my nose up to if it was made specifically for me.
Point is ScreamingIdiot, the quality of your drawings has declined over time. Alot of people are probably thinking the same thing, just are nice enough to not mention it. As someone who likes community work, I'm saying you need to set the bar higher than what we are seeing from you nowadays.
