Sometimes, I try to look at things in a simple manner.
My breakdown:
#1: Lemon butchers a chat message that makes it look like Sugar is calling Canary a 'bundle of sticks'. Let's be honest, Sugar would have said 'friend'.
#2: Canary permabans for horrid impersonation. This was originally a year I believe, but was then extended to a permaban. In all fairness, impersonation is wrong, but in this case it was out of a no-shits-given trolling attempt. Nobody took it seriously.
Now let's skip over all of the QQ bullshit that usually goes right here.
QQ bullshit
Was Canary in the right? Yes. Lemon broke the rules, and was punished for it. The only justification for how long his ban is the fact that he's been banned before (and this is a poor reason for it anyhow).
Why it sucks and should be lifted: It's a poor excuse to ban him for this long, and (the biggest reason why) the community is already dying, no need to kill it off faster.
Verdict: 4/10, find a better excuse to permaban
