Before giving away your 3 million of gold, you should inform the person you've chosen that in case of your return he should ask if you want anything back then you would refuse (because you're too good for that) and then he should INSIST on giving it back to you to not be an asshole. Then (maybe) you'll give him a favor and take it.

Now, I didn't ask that but if you wanted to be really nice you could insist.

PS: if you ever offered me something as a gift, I'd just say "Fuck off", seriously.
