After reading the OP, which of the following steps you think would help the mod at this point?

Tweaking the overall XP rate (and the gen bonus if needed) narrowing the difference (a bit) between x1 and x5.;
Increasing the XP rate to low gen characters only;
Creating the Respecc Auction more often (let's say twice per week);
Lowering the XP penalty upon normal respecc;
Awarding respecc chances to donators;
Other (please specify in a comment, or will be ignored).

1. Add 1 free respec for everybody every month.
2. Add 1 heirloom respec every 2 weeks add cost of 50k.

1/ A free respec every two months, don't fuck with free respecs or everyone will just take the OP class after every patch.
2/ a loom respec for 100 k. Why 50 k ? it's like a day of leeching.

I like the idea of new players starting at level 20. Fuck, even I hate the 1-20 grind. The only fun part is getting to dick around as a peasant.

Honestly the typical RPG grind of, "Play more to get better to be able to actually play" is pretty simplistic and shitty, as  a largely statistical and generally unpleasant experience. Playing's a god damned chore, though maybe I'm just disillusioned. To contrast: I've been playing (my friend's copy lul) of Bf4 recently and I greatly admire the leveling system there, if only because play time and skillful play are rewarded with new content--weapons, armor, upgrades, pimping camouflage patterns.

I don't think cRPG can really break outside it's grindfest roots, though. I propose just making it less of a chore whenever possible, like an easier 1-20, and more rewards for getting to 30+.

1-20 was a lot of fun under the old experience system. Now, I think this experience system is better, but it does encourage winning to the point that it's not as fun to play a peasant.

Gen bonus should be inverted...it should be easier to grind out your first couple looms and harder and harder from there, not easier and easier...

Also, I agree about 1-20 levels....scrap em.
