EDIT: Hm, increased ambition to 2 and still can't unvassalize.
EDIT2: Someone brought his troops to the game. Crown of Castille has 50 citizens already, it's like the beta Milan

Most of the Castillians were there originally, a little while after you stopped playing, a bunch of Iberians joined.

Not sure why you can't unvassalise, have they got 300 supremacy over you?

Austria could really use more citizens. Due to our lack of man power we have joined in a coalition which is arguably the strongest power on the map, and is fighting the Iberian Horde. Meanwhile England stays neutral with the 'alliance' but brings her own attacks onto the Iberians.

Somebody can point me to a good summary (or make one for me ) of what is Europe1300 and good/bad points ? 

I looked over few pages of that thread 2-3 times in the last months, and I'm partially interested by what I've seen/heard but not sure if its worth the effort of diving in.

does training mining in the parish school will make me be able to mine iron?
can i sell my goods in another kingdom's market?

Florence has an iron mine in Milan, mining skill has a chance of decreasing your stamina cost for each action.  Will try and sort out some offices for you to help up your prestige and get you some gold.  First thing i would suggest is that you go for the head of the guild in Milan, the current holder is long since dead.
