Just joined and I think I accidentally joined the English. Seems like a poor decision as all the markets here are over saturated from what I can tell. Is it possible to immigrate to another Kingdom? And if so does anyone really want/need a weapons smith? That was what I want to do with dabbling in politics.

Yeah I wouldn't worry too much about the markets either, if you're willing to spend a couple minutes searching across the kingdom lists you can very easily just export your goods to a high priced kingdom and reap the rewards. For example I produce the finest of Wine, which on average sells at around 6 and 80 a barrel in most markets but you can find places where it will go for 9 gold a piece!

@Richyy the game is real slow paced and unfortunately the King of Milan is very hesitant to launch battles or take any diplomatic actions that might cause anything interesting to happen, however I'm regularly launching crusades and trying to galvanise him into action whenever possible.

Do I have to move to the other cities to sell there? I moved all my tools from London to Moscow but I dont have enough travel points to get there

Movement points can be a pain, what class are you? Merchant costs less to travel, same with minstrel and pilgrim.

You can recover Movement points by drinking in a tavern though. Also they recover extremely quickly.

(*you do have to actually be in that province to sell there after you have moved the items, i wouldnt be too concerned about migrating goods to different markets until you have a decent batch)

The cultures don't differ, however you receive a bonus when making claims on count titles if the kingdom you are claiming in has the same culture as your character e.g. Claims of Italians are stronger in Italy than elsewhere.

Edit: How do you get a fief?

I wouldn't worry about exporting stuff just yet as you are low level and need to grind it out before you can make decent sized batches.  Yeah around 500 is a good starting point but that could be a while off if you're making armours!

You gain access to a fief every 10 levels of advancement (capped at 3 fiefs iirc.), once you reach level 10 go the the castle in your selected province and claim your rightful fief there.

When starting go fora  cheap class, craftsman probably being the best one to help you gain gold relatively quickly. Once you've got some production dont and made a bit of gold you can decide how you want to develop your character.
