Why give admins more tools? If they were good admins all they would ever need to use is mute and kick.
More tools equals more chances to abuse.
Focus on game balance. Who cares about admin tools.
Good admins care about Admin tools. The better tools you give me, the better I can help a server. I do not know if you have served as an admin much for CRPG but the number of requests that I get to kill players who are stuck are countless. I know that you do not have a good relationship with more or less every single NA admin, but I dont have a problem with you if you follow the rules, and so I understand why you would think this idea should be scrapped. I am also aware that many players have had negative experiences with admins on the NA servers, I can deal with bad admins, but without the right tools it is much harder to deal with bad players.
Let me give you an example:Player A tells me Player B is team killing them.
Bam! I freeze them both, take a look at the players, and lo and behold Player B is attacking player A! Player B gets kicked, problem solved!
Right now this is how it would go:
Player A says Player B is teamkilling
I say in Admin chat that teamkilling is not allowed, player B continues to teamwound Player A, I can do nothing because it takes to long to find them.
Here is another example:On the siege server a player falls into a hole and is stuck. The player asks the admin to kill them, which an admin cannot do. The admin instructs the player to join spec and rejoin a team. The player barely speaks English and does not understand. The player stays in the hole and doesn't understand what is happening and an admin is forced to Kick him for leeching for sitting around for 7 minutes doing nothing.
With the kill command, an admin kills the player in 5 seconds and play continues with no misunderstanding.
Also, I don't think I need to discuss the benefits of an auto-kick function for teamkillers.
So what I am asking is for you to give the good admins better tools to make the servers you enjoy pleasant for everyone.
I will bring the hammer down on abusive admins. The server logs do not lie.
