Really, the Fable series is good, always heard they were pretty shitty compared to other rpgs?
i didn't get if you're asking if i really think they're good, or you think they're good despite others said it's shit.

anyway i really doubt most of you guys would like fable series; to me, i don't know, i just love those games, the fact your action affects your story and stuff like that, i even like the melee gameplay honestly (eventhough after you play mount and blade every other melee game will be considered worse), the story was nice, the setting was lovely.. i don't know.. didn't care about losing or winning, i simply enjoyed playing that game, it was fantastic to me, but i'd understand if most of you wouldn't like it.

I actually liked LA Noire, very much :/

Sure it direly needs improvement in so many ways, but I liked it.

Anyway the game that hands down takes the cake for me is Planetside 2

Just looked at my steam stats, 361 hrs on warband, second best is tf2 with 292 hrs played, and 3rd one is Pirates, Vikings & Knights II with 229 hrs on.

Besides these i  love playing M2TW and SHIII, such great games with superb mods.

I really really really enjoy Saints Row 3 and 4 atm. Does this make me a bad person?

Humour is grand, gameplay is smooth and fluid and it's so much more entertaining than GTA 4... if anything, SR4 is a bit too easy and short.
When west germany annexed east germany, nobody moved a finger too.

Well, there's no more comparing Saint's Row with... anything since SR3. It's just a mess.

Nope - for me it's the best Sandbox BOOM BANG KILL I've played until now.
Certainly better than ass-boring GTA4 :3

Can't say anything about GTA5 (yet).

In my opinion GTA4 is not a boom bang kill game, simple as that. Play it with no HUD whatsoever and realistic driving and it almost becomes a Mafia game.

Well, I guess we have a different definition about what a sandbox should offer. Which is okay, I guess. Sandbox is such an undefined term in gaming anyway...

GTA 5 is so much better than IV. IV felt like it was dead, soulless, had no heartbeat within a grey and lifeless city with meh characters (with exception of Brucie) at best and didn't live up to the excellence of GTA San Andreas.

GTA 5 really made it up by being an uber epic game.

The first one is pretty good, except for the part where you play as an old fart half of the game because you age with leveling.

Third one was mediocre at best.

In my opinion GTA4 is not a boom bang kill game, simple as that. Play it with no HUD whatsoever and realistic driving and it almost becomes a Mafia game.

Yeah but why bother getting GTA4 when you get get Mafia 2?

Cloud: And that is?
Tseng: Bitches, man.

I kinda liked GTA4. Sure it wasnt as good as SA, but it was alright. I have to agree with kafein. SR2 was a good game. It pretty much went between serius and goofy and it was very enjoyable. When they made SR3 im quite sure they felt it obligatory that the series had to live up to its goofy name and they went way overboard with it. And it became a mess. As far as im concerned they litterally went full retard and ruined it. It is fun to be insane and goofy in a world where everyone else is normal. When everybody's goofy all the time, then its just not that special anymore.
