The burning inside a statue thing was afaik mostly known from the carthaginians (phoenicians) who probably addopted it from the assyrians and/or hittites. And the guillotine is "torture"? Lol, so retarded. It was devised specifically as a quicker and less painful form of execution than hanging or axe decapitation which was the usual form of execution at the time. May as well say firing squads are torture.

That's just simple dictionary definition fail from the video uploader. It's not as if there aren't hundreds of other examples of utterly sick torture humans have/continue to perpetrate on each other that he had to add obviously erroneous items.

I would prefer the guillotine anyday over the electric chair, gallow or lethal injection.

The tub was worse.

People would put you in a tub tied up for weeks in which you would eventually be having to lay in your own feces. After so long the flies would come and lay their eggs on the feces and when the eggs would hatch the larvae would eat you alive. The while time all they would give you is enough water to keep you alive.
