I am a dedicated archer, 18/27, no ath, 2 ps, 6 pd, mw longbow, mw bodkins (of course the "mw" does not do shit for us, we are the only class that better looms gloves than weapons...), 195 WPF archery
Unless I manage a headshot, it takes 3-4 arrows to take down a guy in medium armor.
For pussy bows and lesser arrows it takes even more, and we all know the funny screenshots of plate my old friends as porcupines.
Spamming arrows does nothing (might be annoying but does not much harm unless naked agi puss).
Headshots: ok, bad luck. But requires at least a bit of skill unless the target is an arrogant dumbass running straight lines or standing still. And even headshots do not kill any more, recently shot a guy in the eye with pd5 hornbow and the fucker lived.
So stop the fairy tales, will ya?
