lots of good moments,  many mentioned already.  also basnaks move into grey lands was quite a thing...
Yes, I know from whence I came! Discontented as a flame, Upon myself I live and glow. All I grasp like lightning flashes, All I leave behind is ashes
Flame I am - that much I know!

There was a battle for a village were Michael Dewitt and I put down all the flags before anybody even died. Nobody noticed on the defending team until there was only one archer on a roof left and at that point there were 30 infantry standing around him waiting for him to jump off. Only lost 30 troops in that attack.
We're all nerds here, so it doesn't really matter.

- lovely strat start with good times until the next thing
- Steel Axis action with Zaalback. First descision Bros made in strat for real and good battles.

- The huge inactiveness wave of almost every clan in the summer.

- the fun battles when everyone decided that strategus is useless for them from now on.
Bros never die!

Forming Fimbulvetr, defending against Astralis, Occitan, SS, and the Hospitallers.  VE declared war on Occitan, which balanced the odds a little bit more for us and allowed for a successful counter attack into the Hospitaller homeland.  Overall it was my favorite war (and my first experience with a larger faction) and I'll never forget the great curb stomping that took place in New Dashbigha.

It was indeed a cheap victory over Yalen, it can only be explained with "thats the best way to gain strategus points" argument, something many leaders from many sides have defended in other situations.

I remember a time when for a proper state to emerge and prosper, he had to first buy off at least 10 000 naked troops, then he could trade for the least defendable village in the world and enjoy ever lasting peace.

This strategus seemed so long to me.
At first I started as a merchant, trading around the map, and building a decent army of almost 1k troops. Then one day I got too close to Coalition lands and got assaulted by their border patrols (http://c-rpg.net/?page=strategusbattlesarchive#!?page=strategusinfobattledetail&id=4998). Then I could not be asked to keep going so I stopped wandering around the map for a few months.
Then, on the last day of strategus I had troops and gold to spare, so I said why not attack some random fief. I was around Fenada, and I saw Fearichen had a small garrison, so I headed there. I headed there, with a small but well equipped army and surprise, hours after launching the attack I receive news irl that made me go away for a few days. So I missed the battle (if you can call it that with 3v3 mercs out of which 4 did not show up), which 2 nice lads captured for me and here I am, at the end of strategus, mighty ruler of a tiny hamlet with nothing in it, Fearichen...

As mercenary, some of the sieges were fun, but because of my relatively low str I hate plate battles so damn much...

Yeah the round went on far too long with far too many problems.

From having no idea what i was doing and voting myself into the lord of New Tshibtin, being attacked by chaos as the first battle of strat. I couldn't hire any mercs for the battle so it was capped without a fight.
Then mercing for Hospitallers until that war ended. Joining M8s and farming troops. Then all of the battles where you couldn't build catapaults because it would break the game and kick everyone. Buying Nova Amere and getting +3 Nord Nobleman Outfits. The endless seiges of Dhirim by FCC and my best kdr in a strat battle.

Joining Raven faction and our war on Acre and then FCC.

The most exciting moment in Strat 4 was the first castle siege. Nords made a tactical/political move so Mercs didn't expect this attack on Ismirala Castle. Then we saw an armed 1k army of Nords and all players around the castle basically bought everything they could. We had -2 equipment for a couple of hundreds and end of the battle we were naked and basically were looting everything. An epic and intense battle. Also really love how one of players on our side made suicide deaths to find a crossbow for me and then he brought one to me :D But anyway I gave it away to other crossbowman because I had jump out and destroy ladders as the fastest agi-whore

Love how your most exciting moment in strat 4 was abusing nighttime to gay out and save your castle.
1H stab is the fastest, strongest and longest 1H animation. There's no reason NOT to use it in all instances. I don't know if it's OP, but it's boring. 1H used to be fun because you had a fast (left), long (right) and the most devastating attack (stab) and had to choose the best attack for each occasion.
