Haven't been active for the past 2 weeks recently but I'm back and looking for someone to do this with.

I'd be more afraid of the Kao/Singing combo if Singing were to play as DeafeningFlood again. He was right up there with WaltF4 for support poker. The only big question is whether singing has gotten rusty at cRPG since he hasn't been playing it much lately!

But it matters not! Me and Kalam will obviously agi spam our way to TKing each other Victory!

I've seen him around recently. He still has it. All he needs to do is put on some armor.

We'd have to reach in and channel Spring 2011 FCC TACTICS. Gawd. I can't believe we actually used to do teamwork, once.

Well i will be in africa from the 10th of December - 26th January. If the event takes place in between then the TURBONERDS will have to pullout, or someone can grab allers.

I know the location/time to hold the tournament is still being worked out due to the complicated nature of the servers life. I was thinking that perhaps a series of organized strategus battles could serve the task. Similar to the xp sacrifices held at Malayurg by Murdertron.

Organize the teams to consist one of combatants paired as team 1 and one of combatants paired against team 2. We could have the 2v2's go one by one in the center of a giant ring. Your team only entering the center as you are called by the GOBBLIN King or whomever he chooses. One 2 player team would go at a time against their enemy pairing who would be on the other side in strategus. Thus you would fight with your ally see his sigil and the winning two person pairing would move on and fight in the next round of the tournament.

Figuring out how to bring the correct amount of weapons might pose a problem. Armour should be easy enough as you could just select a relatively light or medium armor for all players to use. Just some ideas but I would love to see this happen and become a trend in the realm.

I still think it could be done fairly easily with a strat battle. People might be a little limited in their weapon choice. Oh well. Good idea. Damn shame.

Kalam ran a 1v1 tournie like this in the past. He put up the brackets and people had X time to get their duels done and both report the outcome. (or have witnesses). It worked OK but some of the people who signed up ended up not doing their duels and then it all got backlogged and eventually it just died. It wasn't elimination though, it was in round robin stages. with elimination it might be easier.

It's not a logistical, but a technical problem. You can have people 1v1 in the duel server, but 2v2 is hard/impossible to pull off with the way the servers are set up nowadays or something.

with help from a private server it would work. just like the 5v5s and such worked fine... but i dont know if anyone has a private server up these days.
