I almost feel like an imbecile having to remind people every day that games are usually about something called gameplay.

Also NES graphics? Did you see Trine 2? Do some research on indie scene before coming to conclusions.

Serius arguing with Berenger about this subject? Are you new here?

Did not just see Trine 2. I have it. And to be honest, its mediocre at best. Last good indie game i played was Braid. Most indie games sucks anyhow.

So what's going on is the dude still in Animus "tracing the steps of his ancestors" if so how is his brain not fried yet, if not don't care the plot must me more stretched by now than Prison Break season 2.
And now he can't play because of "common sense" and he doesn't understand how this common sense works

Bah! The whole story is a giant clusterfuck of cliffhangers and unexplained shit that even devs cant find their way around, to tell nothing about players. They should better start explaining things.

I've hated every AC after the first due to the incredible repetitiveness. But this one was actually a LOT of fun. The sailing and ship battles gave it enough variety that I actually played it all the way through and did all the side missions. I really enjoyed it. Though I'm curious what they'll do in the next installment, can't imagine going back to only playing the game on foot, wouldn't be able to do it again.
I'm rock, nerf paper, scissors is fine. Welcome to c-RPG.

I can't hate on AC.

I know so many aspects of it are repetitive and shit but there's just something about it I love so much.

I really want this one but will wait until it goes on sale I think.

In my case you are right. Im a real sucker when it comes to piratethemes. There is just something about being in a confined space for months with bunch of other semi-naked muscular sweaty and desperate men. But it is not just me. Many think of Black flag to be somewhat of a minor risingpoint for AC in general, considering the repetitiveness and lack of actual creativity the last games had.

It just shows the moneygrabbing nature of the studio. It makes no sense at all, but they do it anyways because pirates sell.

17.2GB pre-load... probably my biggest yet. I think Rome 2 was less than that.
When west germany annexed east germany, nobody moved a finger too.

Ubisoft has always been moneyhungry. Just look at the games they publish these days. Mainly their old successful titles, slightly altered. Ubisoft will probably never publish a real legendary game. They seem to be so afraid of failing, that they just release games that are only for the general public. They dont have the balls to do stuff Paradox does. Sure sometimes they screw the pooch and the games end up buggy as hell, but atleast they go out their way to publish something new and different. Breaking new ground. The very logo of Ubisoft itself reminds me of blandness.
