Watched a minute from the middle, the guy playing almost dies in melee because the only thing he does is spam mouse1. I didn't think anyone could be challenged by the combat, but I guess I was wrong.
Meaning lies as much

Yeah, melee is basically just spamming one button and occasionally counter. Sometimes them enemies can kill you in melee, but that only happens during horrible frame drops because my PC can´t always handle all the shit happening in screen because of bad optimization ubisoft did with PC port. :(

It took a while but now I realized that it actually gives quite the advantage to have someone as UPlay "friend" who's playing AC4 too...

...like those White Whale locations, shorter travel time for the fleet. Things like that.

Since I don't wanna invite just random people: My UPlay-nickname is "kamelle".

Invite!
.
add me if you want my nick is Peter_pan555.

Haven't gotten far in the game but there better be a Kraken in the game and a Ghost Ship.

Those are those massive legendary ships? Tried to fight one, when my ship was badly upgraded. I was in the bottom of the sea in 5 seconds.

I liked Blackbeards ship hell of a lot more then mine after that one mission where you take out a man-o-war with it. I wish I could have used that the rest of the game. Acctually I thought the fact that Blackbeard was in this game and your bff totally stupid. I acctually consider the idea of major historical icons being best buddies with the protagonists in ACs completely silly. I dunno why, but it always feels completely cheesy.

Yea, I already thought that it would be nice not being limited to one ship but having the possibility to choose.

Get a Man o' War for awesome firepower and high armor but be more or less a sitting duck against a nimble brig. Or use a Frigate as a compromise of both. Maybe even allow a Schooner for glasscannon quickness...

I wonder why they don't allow that. Maybe balance issues, maybe development time too short... That would have been great.

Didnt want the man-o-war. Just Blackbeards ship. It was nimble, looked cool and it shot 2 cannon volleys in a row.

Iirc you get the 2 volleys too when you upgrade the round shot to max, don't you? Not sure though...

I used the trainer somewhere at the middle of the game. I got seriuslly bored so I maxed out everything I could so I could sprint trough the story. I cant get everything absolutely maxed out, cause I have to search for the "elite upgrades" to get the last upgrades. Maxing the round shot does not add an extra volley nor does adding more cannons. So I quess u cant.

It was a huge disapointment when I realised I wouldn't be getting bigger/different ships just using the same small ship to take on entire fleets, via the extremely shallow upgrade system. Yes shallow, there's a pun in there somewhere.

Yeah I was disappointed by that to. Especially as you capture much bigger ships. But alas this shall suffice and I'm having to much fun anyhow.

Just me who found out the cheap easy gay way to get the shanty's? By just marking it on the map and then walking towards it backwards without looking at it which in turn prevents it from flying away?
