I don't think more weapons are needed. I'd rather see improvements and re-skins of old armours and weapons. The old models are pretty much the only link to Warband Native.

I am fine with the amount of choices we have. I don't need more weapons.

I have one specific suggestion tho: Staff and Quarterstaff have both knockdown while the Double Sided Lance doesn't. Make the Lance more expensive but add knockdown please

I would vote for more throwing weapons, but since it is stated not to be ranged; I vote for more African-Muslim polearms.

I think we should try to add weapons that provide a new fighting style, a new niche. A very long 4 directional polearm is a niche we haven't really covered. We currently have the Fauchard and the Glaive. The Glaive is my old friendgy and not actually all that long and the Fauchard has fucking 28 cut which is just a dumb crap value. I'd like to see something like the Looney Toons Axe back, although that might have been shorter, don't really remember. Something very slow, long, heavy, quite high damage and 4 directional. I don't care if it stats are somewhat crappy, as long as it is viable.

Basically the Long Voulge, I think it should be restored to its former 4 directional glory. Maybe Bars will even come back and play then. It would give us a unique fighting style.

No. The mechanics of the game are not suited for long 4D weapons. At all. I've used the Looney Tunes Axe for about three months (november 2010 to january 2011) and there is no way to build a weapon like that without making it completely broken one way or another.

Even if you give it a speed of 40 (which would realistically speaking be much too fast anyway) anybody would still be able to hiltslash with 40c.

I'd love to see you try to spam people with long maul hiltslash attempts, you are simply not correct. I really don't get this burning hatred for polearms you have. If you were right then the Long Voulge should've been a popular weapon. It wasn't, only Bars used it consistently and he did well because he was simply experienced with it and a good player overall.

Great long bardiche is pretty long and hardhitting, a weapon longer than that would probably just be broken.
