How did you come up with your Gamer Name?

Well my name is a creation that my niece came up with.  A Gawagili was something that looked like http://i.imgur.com/NUDCHhd.jpg (we don't know what ever made her create that).
 The glue part was also something she used to say, like "happy heart, glue", which throws a happy heart at you with glue to stick.  To be mean you can say "mean spider, glue". 
So that is the incredible story of why I chose Gawagiliglue.

I had always been inspired by cool old wizards/warriors such as Dumbledore or Gandalf. Eventually I just made my own "Dalfador" about 3 years ago. Turns out there is a Battle for Wesnoth character called Delfador, but I assure you, my name has nothing to do with that.

Flipped open a dictionary and the first "T" word I got was "turmoil." I don't think I have to explain the "Tom" part.

And thus, TurmoilTom came to be.

To this very day, it still sounds really cheesy to me, but every time I mention to my friend that I'm thinking about changing it he tells me that it's awesome and that I should keep it.

[Scervo]

I'm pretty uncreative so I was looking through a list of zelda characters/enemies/bosses for potential names and Scervo popped out at me because I liked the way it looked and sounded and it was similar to one of my favorite songs at the time, Servo.

As to why they named him that in the game, the character (a mini-boss in Skyward Sword) was a robotic pirate, so the name is a combination of the words servo, a type of motor, and scurvy, a disease common among sailors/pirates.

In real life my first name is Struan, and Strudog somehow came about as a nickname for me at school and has stuck ever since, its the first ever gaming name i have ever had, never changed and i cant see myself doing it, its too unique that no one else will ever have it.

I have a weakness for history and especially half-legendary rulers, and when I was reading about King Arthur, it hit me, "Who was his father again?" 

So I searched a little, and found this nice picture of a grumpy king (<----) + the explaination of his name.
I was just beginning my journey in world of multiplayer warband, and first mod I really enjoyed (while it lived) was FullInvasion. Jumped on a server with people, who were, as I learned later:
A muslim swede and a nazi finn.  Roleplayed goddamn LotR characters for half a day, then joined up on steam. Swede asked me if I have ever tried cRPG.
"What's so great about it?"
"You'll see, just make an account and jump in. But choose some normal name "

And so, "Defender" morphed into "UtherPendragon", who later became "Old_Baron_UtherPendragon", because I used to hold a Baron rank in my first clan.

Back in the day I use to play the Battlefield franchise and loved riding as a gunner or passenger in vehicles, I'm_with_Stupid was just a fun little dig at the drivers. Started off in CRPG as a sneaky xbow and hated when people stood near me and blew my cover, so the name fit. Now that I'm a 12 shield build with my name as my flag, I really love that opponents hopelessly swinging away on my shield have to read that the whole time...
