Zombies have been done to death to the point where even reinvented zombie media is lackluster.  Other genres have better staying power despite many works merely being alterations of similar themes.

If I want scary, real life does the best job.

Waiting for reviews, but if it turns out good I'll probably end up buying it.

Pre-ordered it for PS4. Watched a lot of gameplay/streams and it looks like the game I wanted Dead Island to be. Hopefully this one doesn't disappoint!  :D
I'm rock, nerf paper, scissors is fine. Welcome to c-RPG.

If they had zombies that didn't run like old Romero movies and instead surrounded you and overwhelmed you by numbers and no mutant zombie bosses i'd love zombie games nowadays.

I am having a good time in-game.
I am happily surprised how well the parkour controls work, it's close to Mirror's Edge feel of movement, yet not as elegant animated. But I guess that fits the game better anyway.
Zombie bashing is fun, had my first big boss Zombie and it actually takes some time and work to kill it which was good. It feels intense and the controls work well again. Overall it seems to be a really good Zombie game. At least from what I've played yet which isn't too much.

Only thing: technical issues but it is very well playable for me, maxed out settings at around 40fps (I don't need those 60... never really understood why tbh) but there is obvious room for patching and it doesn't feel like a lost cause (*cough* AC Unity *cough*).

Don't buy yet if you're not German, wait for some patching.
German players basically have to buy now. There are strong rumours that it will be on the index in a few days and Steam will add a activation lock for German IPs.
Bought my key at MMOGA and didn't need any VPN... worked/works like a charm.

I'm super sick of bad zombies game, but that doesn't mean there isn't potential for a REALLY good zombie game. There too many people trying to make a good zombie game but no body actually seems to be achieving it.

I mean dude have you READ I am legend. that concept with randomly generated city with hyper realism and occulus rift and it would blow minds.

and this game looks like it might be alot closer than others so will have to.... PIRATE BAY IT

Another game which has DLCs straight away = better to pirate it than buy it. Pirates can even play multiplayer...
