Basically made by a similar team to the ones that made Dead Island. Even has similar aspects but with a mirrors edge take. So free running around a zombie world basically:

Getting really fed up with all these zombie games coming out.

I think Last of Us hit the nail in the coffin due to its greatness, don't see any more games topping it.
Some games remain fun, and I imagine Day Z and stuff like that will always grow. But shit like State of Decay (okay was a semi-decent game) and the crap you see on KickStarter now and then really drives the whole theme into the dirt.

But free roam, you say? Might be fun for a bit.

Regardless, no one is forcing you to play any of them and amongst the pile of shit there are always a few gems. Let the zombie games continue because there will always be one every now and then that really stands out of the crowd, if people didn't make them we wouldn't have the good ones. You can pretty much say the same thing for many other "themes", especially War FPS's, whether modern, sci fi or historical that theme has been killed beyond repair, yet there are still a couple every now and then that are really good products ( none of them are CoD ).

The whole zombie theme is also really getting on my nerves. Even when a good "zombie" game comes out, the "zombie" part has more often than not nothing to do with the actual quality of the game. It's lazyness and marketing.

Mixing Mirror's Edge, zombies, and a leveling up/equipment system. With open world of course.

No matter how many zombie games there are out there, this one actually interests me.
I'll be sure to keep a close eye on it, this last video was pretty decent.

So gonna get this. Parkour looks really nice and coop seems to be awesome too.
Not to mention the "Be the Zombie"-DLC which will be free for all. From what I understand it lets you invade other player's games as a Zombie :D

Anyone else getting this? Let's add each other on Steam for some coop!

Woodkid has specifically said that he produces music intended to make people feel like heroes. This is what action videogames usually try to do, so it's a good fit I guess.

I'm tired of zombie media, too.

However, I was also tired of police procedurals when I watched The Wire. I still loved it. The same goes for the first two seasons of Luther and a lot of The Shield.

I was tired of high fantasy, but I still don't mind Brandon Sanderson.

I was tired of war movies, but you better believe I watched American Sniper.

I was tired of super-hero movies, but god damn did I love the Winter Soldier.

Yes, genres get tired and I would rather see people try something novel, but mashups sometimes revitalize dry tropes.

Left 4 Dead meets Mirror's Edge? At the very least, it's a game my wife won't mind playing, which is always a win for me.

I'll buy it when it hits $10. Sorry, Molly.
