Might've, but it might've not been, considering I've seen countless other ridiculous trade offers people put up it wouldn't surprise me if it was a legit offer.

Go check out some of the offers for +3 peasant gear. It seems people believe +3 items are worth 550k. I raged many a time at these offers (one guy even tried to get me banned for calling him names because of his offers). Now I know to just let the neckbeards try to cheat the new players, and hope it doesn't happen.

I gave up on the market long time ago. Now I loom everything personally. Generally all the trades ive usually wanted to make go by my +3 for your +3. With no catches whatsoever. Unless their values were completely different. Its just hard to find good offers through all the sea of bullshitoffers.

Even if you don't want to sell something you might as well put an offer up for 100 gold at a ludicrous price. Someone might be desperate for it and buy. 1.55 is probably beyond what someone will pay atm though, think 1.3mil is about what it costs to loom something yourself including sales tax but loom prices fluctuate and there are wealthy people out there that might just buy it.

What if you couldn't use the item while you had it on a sell order? If it disappeared from your inventory people would want to get fast trades and be more reasonable, or they would put stuff up that they don't really want so again put up more reasonable prices. You don't really lose anything but 100 gold for putting up an offer, maybe you could even lose the sales tax up front or something. Or just increase the 100 gold cost
