I have no problem with the damage to be honest. Either infantry or cav, but when i stop a horse from the front, I can dehorse him if he doesn't have a shield but if a rider caries a shield it's quite diffincult to get a clear hit, that is what I was asking is there a certain area of the horse you poke and drag the hit or something similar.

Will try out Teeth and Gurnis suggestions.

Oh and also I play with Bamboo because I only try to use Asian gear so no awlpikes

And now he can't play because of "common sense" and he doesn't understand how this common sense works

You can't have a problem with damage anyway. Any stab is thee most powerful strike with any weapon. The wackyness of stabbing thru teammates or swinging thru characters to release stabs or the ever fun hit before animation mularkey. You really can't complain about a guys shield blocking your attack

Huh, I always find stabbing at the head of the horse very risky because of magical shield block. I always stab at the legs, they increased the damage to the legs significantly at some point, never heard anything about it again, but I have no reason to believe they removed it.

It is not removed. Horses legs do get armour reduction from melee attacks to the legs.

Always aim for the legs of a reared horse.

Its stupid how few people know this. You need 2 or 3 times as many hits to the body as for the legs.
It is easily noticeable.

If you want something that can be passed off as Asian the Ashwood is one sexy spear, plus it looks region neutral.

Usually after rearing a horse try to maneuver for another rear-up or up attack the horse's flanks as they ride off, you may hit the rider and horse.

Also a lot safer, if you dehorse the guy, bamboo spear is not the ideal weapon to face him if you are alone.
why not? its fast as fuck

It is very frustrating when that happens, just do what Teeth or Gurni said, those are your biggest chances of killing the horse, or you just gotta hope the horse has low health

ashwood pike is europeen as far as I know in japan you would use spears like the spetum/ranseur/corseque/partisan those are all like the yaris they used in the sengoku jidai time.

You ride an armored pony now, can you tell me how much does it take for a bamboo or any other spear for that matter to take you down when stopped from front. I guess while ridind with the speed bonus you take quite allot of damage but how much damage do you take standing still while people pike the horse.

Also yes i tried Gurnis and Teeths suggestions and must say hitting the head works but the legs work better. also the ass

As for equipement suggestiosn I really don't mind using Ashwood, it's a great weapon just maybe a but too short. I am love playing with Bamboo and don't intend to stop using it anytime soon.
And now he can't play because of "common sense" and he doesn't understand how this common sense works
