Get openBRF, Wings3d or Blender, Photoshop cs2 (it's sort of free now), and the NVidia .dds plugin for photoshop cs2. Then look up some tutorials.

I'm making an official statement here, armor will never get retextured by me, way too hard and too much work. Sorry. Shields and horses might be a different story.

Could you use GIMP instead of PS? I think it has a .dds plugin

didn't find any pics on the forums, but did read that color is determined by banner background. so i guess depends. all righty!

I want to retexture Barbed Arrows +3 or Bodkin Arrows +3, because they are hardly distinguishable from each other. I think most of the heirloom pack users would agree that a new feather color for one of them would help to tell them apart and be useful overall. Do you agree, and would you support my idea and add my retextured version if it looks nice enough?
