HOLY SHIT!
Kinda looks like its a sequel to Supreme Commander. Basically has the similar people working on it. Early Access costs alot of cash in steam, which is the reason why I looked it up just to see what the all the commotion  was about.

Seriuslly, the price is ludacris. The devs did appear to be insanely devoted to it from the vids. Like what they made here is revolutionary and hard to pull off, so I quess thats why they even dared to ask such an insane price. But tbh, as far as the vids go, the game looks good but not really that good. From the video, the difference between the usual RTS and this didnt look that big. I mean the planets are like maps, but they are seperated until someone builds some thing to get to the next part, everything else just looks like Supreme Commander to me with cooler superweapons. So basically its got like only one thing going for it. Overpriced as hell if you ask me..... But still looked cool.

It's gonna be 30 euro at release but 87 euro for early access, haha they are doing it exactly the wrong way around.

There's a good reason for such high price for alpha/beta access.

I remember the grandfather of this kind of rts games,  total annihilation..  great fucking game,  and very new concepts back then.

There's a good reason for such high price for alpha/beta access.

It's because of their kickstarter and they don't want to break it, makes sense, but still.

There are no good reasons, they are just a bunch of greedy fat fucks! Been following that since friday, and there is no excuse for such shameful marketing tactics!

I will not re-write any of the above mentioned points myself, since I will not do it better. :) I 100% agree btw.

There are kickstarters and closed betas I paid for early access which were far cheaper and also better games IMO, no way on earth I'd ever pay that much for this game, not sure I'll even pay a full retail AAA price for this when it's released either.

EA has prolly fired their whole economics-dapartment once they saw the pricing on PA Alpha-access.

Bet they were all like: "WHAT?!WE CAN RELEASE OUR GAMES IN ALPHA STATUS AND CHARGE PEOPLE MORE FOR BUG TESTING THAN FOR THE FINISHED GAME?AND GET AWAY WITH IT?WHY THE HELL DIDNT WE THINK OF THAT FIRST!"

Kickstarter or not, this is plain gold digging from the devs.I really, really hope this doesnt become standard in the gaming industry - I can already envision EA releasing the BF4 Alpha for 100 bucks.

I will probably buy the game once it´s out because I really like the concept, shame on the devs for such a pricing policy though.
Maybe it woud be better for me to find out where you life and kill you when you are satch a Soziopath. You have enough now.

Shit man, didnt even think of that. We paying them more to play the more bugged unfinished and broken version is like the master of all evil. Frankly I dont mind that much thou. People paying more to play a unfinished project just for the sake of getting to play it sooner than others is only a thing a seriuslly diehard fan would do or a complete retard. And retards need to have their money taken from them.

Couldn't care less what folks on steam forums have to say. That place is worse than youtube comments section. I'm following this game since they announced it, even before kickstarter campaign.

I support the price, because it means only those who badly want it will get alpha access. If you ask me, only folks who supported the game in crowdfunding process should get alpha and beta access. That goes for any crowdfunded game.

Don't like early access price? Wait for game to be finished and buy it for normal price.

Edit: Also, there's PA thread somewhere. Use search next time, don't be lazy.

Well what price did it have to be funded at on kickstarter to guarantee alpha?

Can see it was $40 for beta. Ah $90 for alpha on kickstarter. Still seems a little cheeky to put it for that on steam though post kickstarter.

90$

Devs are the ones to blame, they made a mistake. It's pretty obvious Steam Greenlight and crowdfunding schemes aren't compatible.
