helmets

i'd like some helmets that are simple but still not ugly or uncool. like the nordic pot helmet which is probably THE most commen helmet found in the medieval ages that was used from footmen to knights. a lot of the helmets in crpg are really cool but some helmets that are more for the commen man would be nice.
and for example the nordic pot helmet is really ugly because your neck is bald. maybe they could add a mail coif under those helmets that have that problem. not that i want people to all be like peasents but even knight used that kind of helmets and they were strong enough to hold a few punches.

I agree, the nordic pot helmet isn't used much because of the whole baldness issue.
I'd like to see some more helmet styles overall reall, I might have a go at modelling a few in the coming days actually;

could you make some kind of pot helmet but with a mail coif under if so it doesn't look that stupid when you wear it?

Nice picture Peasant. I wouldn't mind more varieties at all. I mean, one of the most common ways to identify someone's status is by looking at how intricate their hat is. (perhaps why TF2 hats are so popular)
