basically nothing changed except you get to redistribute your heirlooms which mostly benefits the people who got their weapons nerfed after they were OP for half a year.
I'm sorry, it doesn't benefit
mostly people who abused weapons being OP, it does benefit a few of them though.
It benefits
more people who want a slight change in playstyle, and it benefits
even MORE people who can't use weapons together/on their builds anymore due to requirements.
That line of logic is "To prevent a small minority of people who used an OP weapon, we must screw over the majority of people".
I'm getting really pissed off at this line of logic. I can't stand someone with a developer tag saying it repeatedly in this thread.
With that being said now, I am SO glad that this heirloom recalculation is being done. It is good to see that you do care about the majority of the player base.
I just hoped it would accompany a stat recalculation, because players over level 31 who can't use their items due to requirement changes got shafted as well. "Oh yeah, you can retire but you lose tons of EXP just so you can grind all the way back up to level to use your gear again."
