So what we all learned from this is: use the most op weapon as long as possible.

After it's nerf you just wait a week and take the next best op weapon with your free redistributable heirloom points

So when and how do we reclaim these heirlooms? Or do we? I am confuse....

Also, quite a good idea, since we get to re-distribute them :)

Maybe a timeslot, when you pick your first heirloom you have 2 days to spend the rest of your points or fasader eats them.

I have 1 problem with this solution:

Experience13,291,197
+-4,555,354
Level up at8,735,843

Why is this a problem? Well, this gen I decided to do a "fun" build and went full crossbow wpf just to see how it was like before bitching about it.

Unfortunatly for me, it took me over 3 weeks to get to level 30 and then the patch/exp nerf hit. Didn't get to level 31 in time and now I'm stuck at level 31, halfway to 32 with a shit build.

If I had retired yesterday (just 700k left at the time) I would've had the same amount of heirlooms, but would've been close to level 30 with my new build.

On the other hand, since I retired just 2 times after the patch and I was gen 9, I had only 4 heirlooms (nasty heirloom theft). Now I'm recalculated to Gen 7, which gives me 6 heirlooms and I have to retire anyway for a 7th heirloom.
I just REALLY hope I can heirloom stuff I can't use with the points given to us, since I've played 8 out of 9 gens as a shielder and I want to heirloom a shield.

The problem is even if you are number 1 in NA you are still only number 467 in EU or the worst in AUS(number 17)

Interesting. it says I'm generation 6. I don't remember what generation I was, but I am pretty sure I didn't really lose any generations, and if that's the case, I'll have the same amount of heirlooms as before... actually.. I'll have... 1 more heirloom? o_O

Something's odd.

If you can't do it without the requirement try waiting to assign heirloom points until you do your shielder build?

Something's odd.

Its because you lost heirlooms in the January theft, but you got them back essentially with this one because your heirlooms are based on your generation.  Also you got back the ones you sold.

By the way, thanks blondin for the +1 :)

I've never played a server where people split up as much or as often as on EU1.  No wonder range is having a field day.

nah all gens got recalculated as if they were done with 3% instead of 10% bonus so people lost some gens.
some people who lost looms from the /3 heirloom theft might have gotten some more but that should only effect the hardcore grinders.

basically nothing changed except you get to redistribute your heirlooms which mostly benefits the people who got their weapons nerfed after they were OP for half a year.
