Hi ! I created this thread to discuss about amazing german games.
Gothic's arent so popular in the world like TES so they arent too mainstream (i dont see gothic themed memes in internet xd). My favorite game from series is Gothic I from 2001 year. It was my 1st computer game ! I remember Gorn Lester Milten Lee and other friends of nameless hero (name is too mainstream). Arcania Gothic 4 is a shit !

Hehe... indeed... superman-hogs killing you in a split second. A shame really. I do have it at Steam tho but I failed to actually give it a try once more. Khorin told me that the community patches do miracles... At the moment I play Risen now and then... guess that's kinda Gothic 3

You should give it a try now, just dont forget to install community patches and the content mod. Its a good game actually, compared to the shit that came out in recent years.

Risen 2 Dark Waters totally sucks - i dont know why PB made fantasy game in the pirates of caribbean universe ..

Risen is a copy of G2
Paladins - Inquisition
Mercs and Onar - Bandits
Fire Mages - Mages
And Gothic I
Ending with OP Magical armour and magical  weapon (needed to kill the final boss)

I bought Two Worlds II because I thought it would be like Gothic two but holy shit no. Gothic 2 was awesome for it's time.

Oh and the great mage decides to be the power hungry villain when you bring them those crystals and he opens that gateway, how surprising. It's a huge cliché-fest.

I really liked the mage training part of it though.

Loved Gothic 2 , and if you loved it like me  , you shuold try two worlds 2 , underrated game imho

TW 2 good game and polish - best magic system in cRPGs ;D World isnt so epic like in Gothic 2 and I (Khorinis with Valley , Jharkendar from Night of the Raven)

Check this out if you haven't yet. They have been making this big mod that will make G3 a better game (or so they say) for ages. I hope they release it soon.
