About to rage at this game. Fucking shit. I got fucking bad sport stamp after trapping and killing people while destroying their cars with explosives and now i'm stuck on separate few bad sports servers where only almost high levels are. It's literally hell. And nobody will do missions with you.

And you also get a permanent dunce hat untill your bad sports stamp is gone. My bad sports mark lasts for 3 real life days from now.

This is beyond retarded. Quitting matches and shit okay. Destroying someones vehicle? Man fuck that.....

Just finally found a bad thing about GTA V.....fucks sake.

Well, I like the idea of punishment for bad sportsmanship, it just seems a little bit broken right now.

It's beyond retarded. And those bad sports servers are what would happen if you'd put  all reddit users, 4channers and 9my old friendgers together in one server, make them high levels and give them as much weapons as they want to use and of course put a gay looking dunce hat on them.

So you're saying that the game has evaluated your gameplay and now puts you in servers where people play the same way, which you dislike? Sounds like a 'one should not treat others in ways that one would not like to be treated' type of deal.

I just wanted to ambush bounties and jackasses by putting a sticky bomb on my car or NPC car and then putting it in the middle of the road and when the enemy pops up BAM surprise ambush and of course their own car gets destroyed in the blast and you'll get bad sport points. That's stupid no matter how you want to twist it.

For repeated spawnkilling/quitting matches etc ok. But destroying someones car?

This is GTA not Hello Kitty Online where we're all supposed to hold eachothers hands.

Is there any effect or cost on having your car repaired/respawned? Asking this to evaluate just how much of a "grief" it is to destroy someones car.

Well they have deathmatch missions if all you want to do is run/ride around and kill people.  I'm glad they implemented the bad sport mechanic.  I don't mind people trying to kill you or fuck with you, but some people just literally ride around the whole time trying to kill other people (they die, spawn, and then race back to the scene of the crime to try it again).  My brother and me have killed the same guy over 10 times in a row who just keep coming back trying to kill you.  If you want to do that, it will put you in a server with other people who want to do nothing but try and kill other people.  I don't see the problem here.

You lose $2000 every time you die, and when you kill someone you may be lucky and get $200.  I don't see the appeal in trying to kill other players repeatedly in an auto-aim video game.  If you're out trying to rob stores and you continually have the same guy or group harassing you (instead of actually doing something productive) it gets annoying.  I don't see a problem sticking people like that in the same server with other players who only want to ride around and kill others.

I like to go for people with bounties, but otherwise I generally don't fuck with other people.  And killing the people is not going to give you a bad sport, it's just when you blow up their cars (I believe to discourage people from sticky bombing or grenading other people's cars, which is a pretty easy way to kill someone).  You only pay like $500 if your car blows up if you have insurance.   So it's no biggy.

Only problem I have with the "bad sport" thing is that if you're on a mission, you can get kicked from a server and lose reputation.

I read some comments and i guess the problem is, it penalises you for blowing up cars, regardless of the context - self-defense, accident, or fucking about with friends, as well as other things, that really are part of normal gameplay and not griefing at all.

Cars don't just accidentally blow up.  I've shot a lot of cars (even with an MG) and not had one blow up yet in multiplayer.

GTA V is different than 4 or SA.  As far as I can tell, there's no "gas cap" that you can shoot and blow the car up immediately.  It takes quite a bit of shooting to blow up a car in GTA V.  Obviously a small explosion near a car though will blow it up easily.  Like I said, I've opened up on a car with a machine gun in this game and shot at least 30-50 shots into the car and it didn't blow up (although I wasn't trying to blow it up, and a lot of the shots may have hit windows).

yes it's easy to blow your own car up when you're driving in GTA V if you land wrong.  that's not going to give you a bad sport though (maybe if someone else was in the car with you, but I'm guessing not).  my point is that you aren't going to get a bad sport from accidentally blowing up other cars.  You pretty much have to be trying to blow up a car (or know that's a very high risk), it doesn't just happen out of the blue.

@ People: I play on Xbox, using my roomates Gamertag as I don't own the game or a 360. Not sure what the gamertag is atm, but I'll get back to you if I remember to do so.

Survival mode is a pretty boss way to rack up cash fairly quickly, for those like me who are pretty bad at winning DM's/races.
You think you're pretty smart with your dago mustache and your greasy hair.

Survival mode is a pretty boss way to rack up cash fairly quickly, for those like me who are pretty bad at winning DM's/races.

An easy way I made money was one of two ways:

Find a buddy, create a race on the Arms Race track (it's an oval on the airport runway).  Pick 1 lap (doesn't affect money you make from betting by playing more laps).  One of you is designated the loser before the race, they bet $100.  The other person, the winner bets something like $2500.  The loser will only lose $100, but the winner makes a lot more than $100 (usually was about 1/3 or so of what we bet).  It takes like a minute or less per race.  Also a good way to rack up XP.

The better way we made money was after one of you reaches level 22 (preferably both) you can do Martin Madrasa mission which is the same assassination of a guy in a convertible.  He starts in the same spot every time, and you bring the goods he drops to Martin's associate's house which is very close.  You get $9000 each time.

Otherwise by myself I made pretty good money just flying around in a helicopter robbing stores over and over, when you start getting too many cops on you from a robbery, then I'd switch it up and play a survival mission and go back to robbing.
