Yeah I guess I'm a Rockstar fanboy seeing as Red Dead Redemption, Bully, LA Noire and all GTAs besides IV were incredible

GTA 4 was far from incredible. I was rather bored by the half of it tbh... not to mention the crappy half-assed port they made.
When west germany annexed east germany, nobody moved a finger too.

Some people like Gta IV, some people don't, I loved it. I loved the driving and even love it more with the realistic driving mod. What it does is basically replace vehicule stats with their real life counterparts, allowing you to reach actual maximum speeds etc. It has pretty much got to the point I started hating arcade driving with a passion.

Also berenger, even if Gta V actually is incredible and has nothing horrible to hide (which as far as I can see seems to be true), it won't magically transform IGN and equivalents into something else than asslickers.

Which I agree with but for other reasons. It was grey, boring, had a crappy main character and weren't fan of the driving system.  Nonetheless every other Rockstar game rocks

I have to agree with you apart from the driving, I enjoyed the driving more than any other GTA's. But sadly the singleplayer only had limited fun for me as I too hated the main character and the storyline, along with annoying features like 'friends' calling you up asking to go bowling when you're busy having fun punching some old guy into a sack of trash so he falls over it and you can lol at the physics.

I did like the multiplayer but even that grew boring after a while, especially when most of the people that were still playing it after a long time wanted to play with auto aim on. There is just no fun in auto aim in a game, especially not GTA, you can barely use veichles in an auto aim match as any no skilled my old friend just holds aim and sprays you with perfect accuracy as you zoom past at 100mph.

Nerds were waiting by 8pm last night for the midnight release...they're not going to run out of games ya fucking nerds...you might have to wait in line for 30 minutes to get your game at midnight...or you can wait for 4 hours and only wait 5-10 minutes at midnight...not very good at math, eh?

I wasn't a big fan of GTA IV even though I am a Rockstar fanboy.  I liked the driving and the physics, but I didn't really like the main story (the two DLC stories that came out were really cool IMO).  Also wasn't a big fan of the color scheme, or the map.  And I didn't like your friends always calling you, and then if you ignore them (I'm busy, bud) you lower reputation with them.

Also echo the sentiments of Leesin about auto-aim in multiplayer.  Same with Red Dead Redemption.  It eventually got too difficult to find non-auto aim servers to play in.  I don't think that will be as big of a problem with GTA V, at least not with the MP coming out early October, and being fully customizable.

I'm picking up my copy tonight after work, and will not get a chance to play til tomorrow night...going to be a very long 28 hours.

I hope you just forgot about Max Payne 3 and aren't really of the opinion that it's great...

Max Payne 3 wasn't nearly as good as 1 and 2 but... it was a solid shooter. That's fair to say.
