Yeah the IGN review was pretty terrible...all roses and sunshine...they didn't even say anything about money like the 2nd review did.

Can't wait to get into this game

To be fair I didn't really watch the videos for too long but after reviewing it again it does seem a bit more floaty. What concerns me more is if I'm going to have that kind of handling then where is the actual LA-style traffic?
And how!

It's not a video review, and it's mainly about GTA Online and the mp aspects, but I thought this was an insightful read:

Each home comes with a garage for storing your vehicles. Modest apartments only have room for two vehicles, but if you splurge on a high-end luxury condominium, your garage can accomodate 10. You can treat this space like a showfloor, walking amongst your high-speed darlings to admire the customization you put into each one. Keeping these cars in mint condition isn't easy, so you can hire a mechanic to watch over them and buy insurance to avoid paying huge repair bills when you inevitably send a car careening off a bridge and into oncoming traffic.

Hey, Gamespot does tend to give more or less fair reviews and articles most of the time.

I take almost every review with a massive grain of salt.  It seems like games that are sequels to commercial successes are always given favorable reviews (basically plugs for the game), and they are much more critical of lesser known titles.

For me a good review contains enough information for the end user to make a judgement on the value of the game.

It's a she, but the worst thing is the accent. That is the least elegant english accent I have ever heard, sounds as ugly as German.

Gotta say I like what they've done with the sea and driving on it, GTA 4 sea was horrible. 20:40 for jetting on the sea.

Rockstar are one of the few companies still making awesome games. No matter what the Indie humping bundle of stickss say.

No matter what the butthurt kids who are mad at them for not announcing a PC version so they can have 1000s of mods installed and turn the game into something GTA isn't.

The reviews so far would probably not have been  far from the truth except the escapist magazine site.
