Online GTA5 looks like Second Life. Ewww...

Funny that you would say that, I made a comment about it on TS while we were three in my apartment, doing nothing but taking selfies of each other in the mirror and drinking wine.

That's fine with me but I wanted the best helicopter instead of spending my money on some shitty heli, besides it's amazing for missions.

There's so many gay things in free roam, though. Again, it's wasted potential. Could be so much better with just a few easy changes.

i agree it's wasted potential but we just thanks R* to make gta 5 for pc users (even after years).
If a sort of Multi theft auto is going to be introduced in the online , well , that's the real sandbox i enjoy.
For now you can't do such creative things , you can meet up with friends , blow up cars , steal helis , hunt wanteds , punch eachother in the nuts but that's it. Heists are funny but we need something like more ways to earn money , like Altis Life for example , you can be a drug dealer or earn money in a legit way or be a pi..cop or make a businness industry and sell things to other players (arma life).
All in all online is still funny but i hope rockstar will implement such sandbox features in the future.

Altis life type of activities would be great in GTA Online, but I doubt we'll ever see that. There's so much potential in free roam, a lot of missions could be played in free roam / open instead, and somehow incentivate other players to participate as well.

At the end of the day there's nothing to actually DO in free roam. Robbing grocery stores gets old pretty fast.

It would be great if a lot of the missions were done in free roam, but that'd mean fixing some of the issues of free roam first. Like the fact that the people you kill spawn within a couple of blocks of where you killed them, often with direct line of sight to you.

Armored cars are also OP, especially the Kuruma because it's fast. HF 1) hitting it with a rocket 2) doing that while you're being shot at by 1-hit kill HS automatic pistol/uzi 3) avoiding getting ran over 4) with the very console-y weapon wheel 5) not sure if 1 rocket is even enough to destroy it. Oh yeah, and if you DO hit it? Your prize is paying 6.5k for his insurance, the price of your missiles/stickies(which have bugged out on me before and just disappeared from the Kuruma...) and then doing it all over again when the Kurumagay runs over to the nearest insurance parking lot within a couple of blocks and comes at you again. It's just so very pointless.

Now I did not get the game yet, but isn't the point of playing GTA online dicking around in a violent sandbox with friends? I played GTA IV Free Roam for dozens of hours and had a blast, even though it didn't have a quarter of the opportunities that GTA V seems to have for having fun.

Sounds like you need to find some fun friends.

Yeah no idea why they're whining about it, I spent all my gametime in online so far and haven't even touched SP.
