Most of the people are playing the game from rockstars launcher(Cuz they bought it cheaper from other websites that are selling rockstar keys but not steam.
(I bought for 30 dollars from Brasil  You cant buy anymore tho cuz everybody attacked there (Then I ended up buying the boxed version to install the game..... And gave key to a friend for another game from steam) ) ) .
 I think thats why GTA is not on the top tbh.

I read that turning off Vsync and Tesselation helped someone in Rockstar forums. I'll have to try that. I just raged after the BSOD and also feared damaging my computer so I just uninstalled the game, although I have a backup in my big HDD.

I heard turning off Vsync helped some yeah. I have it turned off as well, perhaps it helps.
