I like the great axe because it's good for face hugging and ending fights quickly so I won't have to "block".  I always do 18/21 builds so I like to use high damage weapons to have a better chance against strength builds.

Well, tried the flamberge and yeah, it's lol jumpslash oneshot everything, but then I found myself equaly effective with German Greatsword (that 6 less speed can really hurt), was before patch though.

My favourite 2h has always been the studded warclub, i mean seriously why would you pick a sword over a baseball bat.

Does nobody here have a masterworked danish simply to halfsword and poke cav?  :mrgreen: Or just halfsword and get 6-1 KDs anyway? BTW, claymore is cool too.

Heavy bastard sword.

Been my weapon of choice in all mods and even native since it was added to the game during beta of the original mount & blade.

It was quite obvious the claymores stats were out of place.  Considering the other ways it could of been nerfed ( - speed or - damage) i'd say you lucked out.  In fact if I had thought it would escape with only - length I might have considered it a viable option.
