Crossbow is basically useless

Well thankfully it was only an alt on first gen, but if I was level 35 as a 2h/xbow build, I would have probably quit c-rpg after the change.  They've fucked over lots of people over the years when they magically decide to change slots or requirements on items.  Bro had a level 33 build that he had never retired since they restructured everyone's loompoints, and when the courser went from 4 riding to 6, he was completely fucked (since he only had 4 riding).  He quit for a couple months, and finally respecced.

The courser change was a good one, 6 riding is a good requirement for the courser.  But when they do shit like this, they should really give people free respecs who are affected (or just for everyone).  I'd also agree that the xbow going to 2 slots was a good change as well (I shouldn't be able to bring a great sword, mw xbow and mw steel bolts).  But it fucks over people and builds, and saying "deal with it" is a pretty fucking terrible way to treat your user base. 

Or leave well enough alone and not alienate more people in a small community.

This change just fucked up it`s marketplace value entirely (if there was any).
Thats what annoys me the most about it but with the time the value will hopefully rise again.

The regular crossbow was worthless on the market before the nerf. Now it goes for 600-650 k, and people add 200 k to get 2 points. It truly is a piece of turd now.

Partially yes... hunting and light crossbow are fine... they both have a purpose... like I posted in another thread in the suggestion forum buff the 3 latter one.

I want to fucking arbalest to one shot anything in that game... jut make it 3 slot, unsheatable and slower to reload.

Yes, we need more fun thievery. Can't say I'm surprised to see this come from an HA. Way to be the stereotype, Dach. 

I think if we implemented a long range(thus lower risk than melee) 1-shot-to-all weapon in game, I'd immediately quit crpg. At that point, you've made it imperative in battle servers to have an arbalest every round, even if it was only for shotgunning. Lets just remove skill entirely. Better yet, lets just add more RNG, I know exactly how it'll work.

First, we'll implement a dice feature into the mod and it'll come with gambling while you're dead. Then, because everyone loved it so much, we'd change crpg while you're alive to a gamble as well. You just roll the dice and if you end up with a bad roll, your character dies. Sometimes you get lucky and end up with a kill, other times you're getting one-shot by a poor RNG system. All for the better though.

I'm down with that! That would be bad ass!

I say double the reload time, make it's difficulty 21 and then increase it's damage to 120p (or more). With it's difficulty at 21 the max accuracy of the arbs will be horse piss, it will however be a dangerous mother fucker in strat!
