Nobody wants to make a significant attack when siege gear is bugged. Taking strongholds will net you massive casualties and the enemy is sure to attack once the siege gear is fixed. So, only beat-downs and skirmishes for now.

They didn't so much as take it as Hospitaller gave it up because they ultimately were not comfortable using a bug to win. I am not saying if that last siege had happened without the bug they would have won (they would not have). I'm saying that because of the bug they could have won, but instead they decided to accept the admins decision without incident and give the fight up.
