We are an archer clan, we spend maybe 1% (thats generous) of our total play time with heraldic armor....so your point is kinda moot.

I honestly don't see your criteria here, how is pink unicors better or worse then a mans torso displayed on heraldic or a tuxedo? Even saw a Batman logo over someones head.

I already told you a way to keep your banner, you can edit the file client side and then you will have your derpy banner and I will have my immersion. But wait, suddenly derp banners aren't so attractive anymore when "sperglords" don't even see them, right?

This whole banner purge business is nonsense. If there were clear guidelines, and then if they were followed consistently and promptly, perhaps it would not be such a big deal. Currently the banner purge is a simple matter of taste. It is not about realism (and I actually know about historical accuracy in heraldry), it isn't about vulgarity (sperm removal is, but unicorn removal?) and it certainly isn't about the quality/texturing of banners (cup clan, mercs). It is simply about what a certain few that have control over it find offensive to their personal tastes. And it's their game so, basically, fuck you.

Post that fist with fish banner up so I can see it again. I don't recall anything wrong with it either, and of the many banners I HAVE seen, it was the most "medieval themed" that I've seen from people.
