Why does there have to be a "dexterity" stat? Seriously, sometimes this whole "realism" trend goes way too far... and the ridiculous part is that by making everything so unwieldy they're making it unrealistic, guns are not hard to handle IRL.

The mouse does feel better now. When you aim down the sight there's still some slide after you stop the mouse, but I think that's intended for realism purpose / to kill twitch shooting?

I hope they get rid of it, I don't remember any guns I've handled sliding on after I've stopped aiming

Sliding aim is kinda stupid and annoying, immersion ho!

(but seriously if you've ever tried using a gun in real life its not like its doing a smooth slide and wobbling in your hands as you go - the BF cod wobbling shit).

The slide is pretty huge though, I dislike it as well. There's no need for that. I don't think Arma 3 has it..

I think whatever they thought to make firearm aim hard will be cooler than the "perfect shooting center point" most games have.
See Insurgency for example. Great game.

My mates and I found a crossbow, shot a pillar and retrieved the bolt. Awesome. It WORKS  And it is also dead accurate at short range (it drops fast to the ground but else its perfectly straight)
Found a second bolt, cant stack it on the crossbow side like the animation shows, too bad, well it occupies only one slot so no biggie! Will report back when I shot a human with mu xbow!

Also found a ashwood stick and a rope, and made a improvised short bow with it  :P  didnt find arrows and we had too many weapons so had to drop it, but the craft is there and very easy!

Insurgency has that? Sure doesn't feel like it. Never really checked. I'm against stripping control from users, in either case.

I'm not sure what kind of a slide DayZ has, but Insurgency has nothing like the gayness DayZ had when I tried it. Insurgency's method is kind of weird when you're used to CS/CoD, but not bad. Arma 3 has no slide at all.

Your scope/sights keep moving for a bit when you stop moving your mouse. Only happens when looking down the sights, when out of sights input to mouse feels like 1:1, no gay ass smoothing/acceleration.
