DTV: remove nudge on teammates

I know alot of trolls are gonna cry because im taking away their n°1 food source, but it has been annoying my greatly since it was implemented. It feeds the trolls, thats all.

First of all, I would like to talk about the use of this feature. Because this is where the main problem starts: very occasionally, some shielder that is cornered somewhere decides to try to nudge the bots away. This is the correct use and it was intended like this. Also sometimes, somebody tries to nudge the last bot of a hill so he falls to death, wich is funny. Sometimes.

Now the problem is, from the moment you spawn, 5 players immediatelly start nudging everybody and everything around. If its not you, you are lucky to only have to listen to the fucking annoying sound that it makes. If its you, you will have to move quickly or that one nudger become 10 who start playing pingpong with you. All of this is fucking annoying, but what can you do?

When thats over, you try to get yourself in a spot to wait untill the first wave arrives. Ofcourse, thats not what the trolls intended you to do, so they start nudging you from the moment you stop. If you dont decide to actively place yourself on your spot again, you find yourself quickly a mile away from where you wanted to be.

Than there are still the diehard trolls who want to show off how cool they are and start nudging everything and everybody down hills and roofs. Extremely funny! the victim can be happy when he loses only a part of his health and doesnt die. Add to this the people who think that its funny to nudge teammates into a croud of enemies. I cant stop laughing when i see that.

I am admin, so i might not think like everyone else how hilarious nudging is. The only thing i see is god annoying trolls. and a never ending sound of shieldbash. Even if im trying to do my job as admin and i am writing to two kids that are teamkilling eachother, somebody starts nuding me around. If it was about me, i would insta kick everybody who nudges a teammate. But as this is not the case, i would like to ask the devs to put friendly fire off for nudging. The only downpart about this is 'realism', but we are talking about DTV after all. The meetingplace for every qualified troll.

The secret to dealing with those pre-round m key heroes is waiting until they are backpedaling away from bots and then "accidentally" staggering them once (knockdown is even better). They will most likely die and the typical reaction provides for some entertaining reading material. Also be sure to apologize, as admins like to check chat logs. Your welcome.

Sadly I do believe it is going to be misused as this one griefer suggested a way to troll. Not to mention its a bit harder to screencap the event of being nudge if your not expecting it

Tbh, i don't mind the nudging genreally its when people get stupid with it that it becomes annoying, for example when i first found it i got a team mate to throw me at the bots when i caused serious harm to them. If used in a good way its a good offensive and defensive attack

so nudging teammates is a good attack? its so usefull to take over the control of what teammates do.

if i remember correctly nudging is like kicking:
- you can be hurt.
- griefing is griefing. is doesnt matter wether they kick or nudge you into enemies or out of cover.
so until it is removed it will be treated accordingly if misused.

Also, about the nudge, while its loads of fun, it IS being misused by lots of trolls, which is sad

It DOES allows some new risky tactics, like getting out of hut, behind crowd of bots (where normal jump would be too weak)

And no, unlike punching it only deals damage when you are lightly armored/ nudger has high-str or high shield skill, so its kinda hard to report that without evidence like screenshots.

I wish the unmodified nudge (just v with no mouse buttons held) were in all modes, bummed to see it go from DTV since Rageball barely ever has any people on it.

Nudging is great when you have a teammate getting in your way and you don't want to be forced to stand still while kicking.

The fact that people use this the wrong way is those people's fault, not the system's.
