jose mourinho is such a hypocrite, he criticised Sam allardyces tactics because he parked the bus against Chelsea yet mourinho goes and does it vs Liverpool and athletico. So how  does parking the bus like Palace did and West ham did against them make murinho a tactical genius.

For me it all came down to 1 decision. Taking cole off for eto was a huge mistake. Our strength is defense, substituting to go on the attack 1-0 up is what cost us the game. Especially considering who gave the penalty away ;)

It was an interesting game all the same, particularly the first half.

Wtf is anti-football though? Playing defensively is as much a part of the game as attacking and evidently effective as well.

Sure it is overdriven, but they dont even play football at times. They just show up on the pitch, kicking the ball away at their first chance.

Hardly. Aim against Liverpool was clearly to frustrate the hell out of them and it worked wonders. Liverpool got more and more desperate as time ticked down and it showed. Playing a more open game would have ended up with the inevitable first half goal and domination that Liverpool have shown time and again.

Same goes for a lot of the other games that have been played defensively. When you have some of the best defensive players in the world, and a squad that, lets face it, suck on the attack a lot of the time you have to play to those strengths even if its not 'pretty' football.

I am a fan of Chelsea and mr. Mourihno. His tactics in Inter worked against tika-taka and won him the CL and no his teams did not play that kind of football all the time, but when needed. It seem that this tactic is used in every game now which saddens me, I might not be correct didin't watch much football this season but that's my impression. It boils down to boring torture of the ball on one side and bus parking on the other these days, can't say I'm much of a fan of that, still like the game but it's getting boring.

When you play with 6 defenders, one defensive midfielder, two attacking midfielders and just one attacker. It's a shame Matic, Lampard and Mikel couldn't play, any two of them would probably replace Hazard and Willian... guess that is why Mourihno lost, he couldn't play as defensively he wanted, had to compromise.

Typical Mourinho, when his side dominates but can't score against the opposition which defends with two lines of block then its that same opposition playing a "19th century football" (which was totally not correct anyway) but when his side defends with two lines of bodies its called "brilliant tactics".

the fact is our old inter was much better than this chelsae; also i'm starting to think that e hazard is not that much honestly, seen him in 5-6 big matches and not a single time he showed that skill that made him best youngster in football along with p pogba; as i said, haven't seen that much honestly so i might be wrong.

well obviously i'll support ancelotti in the final, love simeone because he's an ex inter but ancelotti is one of those few guys who show that in football you can still win much without being an asshole, it's cooler focusing on your side rather than destroying in every way possible the others.
